Remember the Astra theme controversy from a couple of weeks ago? The one that was supposed to cost Astra a five-week suspension from the theme directory but actually ended with a slap on the wrist. Yeah, so now we have a new development that's meant to help in similar situations in the future. There's a new "Delist" status in the WordPress theme directory. The status gives the review team an option to temporarily hide a theme from search, while still keeping it available directly and also allowing updates to go through. Learn more here. 🙈
